1999, Rated R
A man (Giovanni Ribisi) reflects on his childhood and a group of sisters that he and his friends admired. Sheltered by their parents, the Lisbon girls are kept under a tight watch after the youngest of them, Cecilia (Hanna Hall), kills herself.
In an attempt to let the girls have a good time, their parents allow the other four sisters to attend the Homecoming dance at school. However, Lux (Kirsten Dunst), the most rebellious of the girls, gets caught up with her date, Trip Fontaine (Josh Hartnett). After she comes home late, the parents keep the girls under lock and key, and the young boys that love them try to find a way to make a connection before it’s too late.
