Conrad (Timothy Hutton) has a hard time relating to his mother (Mary Tyler Moore) and father (Donald Sutherland) after the accidental death of his older brother. Coping with the tragedy forced Conrad close to suicide and he has since been going to a therapist (Judd Hirsch). As the family tries to reconnect with one another following their loss, they struggle to regain a sense of normalcy. They begin to wonder if normal and ordinary might not be as easy as they look.
~This film won the 1980 Academy Award for Best Picture.

Mean Girls

When Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) starts high school after traveling through Africa and being home-schooled, she has no idea what’s in store for her.
She has a hard time making friends, but when outcasts Janis (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (Daniel Franzese) take Cady under their wings, they decide it would be funny if Cady messed with the popular girls, nicknamed “The Plastics.”
Cady makes nice with head Plastic, Regina George (Rachel McAdams), but finds herself under constant scrutiny and stress when Regina discovers that Cady has a crush on her ex! Heartbroken and fueled by her new friends’ fury, Cady, Janis and Damien go to war with the mean girls.
